We are going through a rapid growth phase and hence would like to hire a Senior Analyst (Energy) in our Singapore-based Asia Pacific team.

General Description:

  • Assist the various Galway Group offices in preparing techno-commercial proposals and end-to-end handling of public tenders;

  • Review market and technical reports, commercial journals and industry regulatory reports;

  • Assist in energy consulting assignments by conducting secondary research from available sources;

  • Assist in conducting research for developing inputs for technical, commercial and economic models;

  • Assist in the preparation of deliverables concerning commercial, economic and regulatory aspects of the project;

  • Build/write detailed financial and economic models, as required in the consulting assignments;

  • Support the development of economic bases for techno-commercial and strategic decision assessments;

  • Update internal energy industry databases using primary and secondary research methods;

  • Assist team members in the preparation of project as well as conference presentations;

  • Where suitable, be a speaker at industry conferences and workshops.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering (postgraduate degree advantageous);

  • Three to six years of relevant working experience in the energy sector;

  • Strong mathematical, analytical, research, comprehension and quantitative skills;

  • Financial and economic modelling skills are essential;

  • Excellent proficiency in MS Word, MS Power Point and MS Excel (knowledge of VBA is a plus);

  • Excellent verbal and written English;

  • Ability to handle diverse projects and work with teams across different geographies/time zones;

  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment.
